Add-Vision Inc. Announces Closure of $6 Million Funding Round.

SCOTTS VALLEY, California USA
Add-Vision (“AVI”), a Delaware corporation based in Scotts Valley, California, announced today that it has completed a new funding round in the amount of $6 million from a syndicate of strategic investors. The subscribers are Cambridge Display Technology, a subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical of Japan, Alps Electric of Japan and Toppan Forms of Japan. The funds will be used to accelerate development of AVI’s proprietary OLED technology for flexible, low cost displays.

Matt Wilkinson, AVI’s CEO commented “We are very pleased to secure this strong financial commitment from CDT, whose technology forms the core of our licensing package and from both Alps Electric and Toppan Forms, who are joint development partners committed to developing manufacturing capabilities in flexible OLED display applications.”
