Technology Transfer
We understand that display and specialty-lighting manufacturers have unique business goals. For this reason, Add-Vision has developed a Technology Transfer Package that can be customized to the fit the specific needs of our customers.
Through Add-Vision’s Technology Transfer package, our partners gain access to:
- A complete technical discussion of P-OLED display technology
- On-site training in printed P-OLED display structures
- Hands-on training in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) leading to superior display performance and high manufacturing yield
- A supply of advanced P-OLED materials for manufacturing displays at customer site
- Overview of the testing requirements for printed P-OLED devices
Licensing
Add-Vision is deeply committed to building out its IP portfolio for printed P-OLED display technology, as well as related inks and materials. We are one of the world’s leading flexible OLED display companies and are intensively focused on building a lasting technology platform for years to come. We have licensing and sub-licensing rights to a world-class portfolio of Intellectual Property (IP) covering technology developed by our researchers. This IP patent portfolio is further augmented the IP estate of Cambridge Display Technology (CDT), the inventor of P-OLED display technology.
Through a one-stop licensing agreement, Add-Vision’s licensees can now benefit from the
combined patent portfolios of Add-Vision and CDT when using Add-Vision's display technology for the fabrication of low-resolution displays and backlighting products.
Our combined IP portfolios cover the most important areas of display fabrication, including:
- Material synthesis
- Novel device structures
- Ink formulations
- Printing and processing methods
- Cathode technology
- Flexible encapsulation
- White, RGB and Yellow OLEDs
